Diesel/Gas Mechanic Mid-Light Duty
Position Summary
We are a **family-owned business** seeking an experienced **Lead Mobile Diesel/Gas Mechanic** to join our growing team. This position involves traveling to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain mid- and light-duty diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles and equipment. Pay
$25.00–$35.00 per hour**, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Travel to customer job sites to diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles and equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service.
* Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
* Use diagnostic software and scan tools to troubleshoot issues.
* Complete work orders accurately and document repairs.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional mobile work environment.
* Communicate with customers and management regarding repair status and equipment needs.
* Follow all company and OSHA safety standards.
* Assist and mentor other technicians when needed.
Qualifications
* **3–5 years of experience** working on mid- and light-duty diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience working independently in the field is preferred.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* **Must be at least 25 years of age** to qualify for company vehicle insurance.
* **Personal tools are preferred but not required.**
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
* **Must be willing and able to travel for multiple days at a time.**

This is a **mobile position** that requires travel to customer locations.
